More than just a slogan, “High quality services for your health” is at the very heart of our concerns, from our nursing to catering via our medico-technical and administrative services. EXCELLENCE and RELIABILITY in every aspect of our services are constantly re-evaluated thanks to satisfaction surveys with our patients, doctors, employees and insurers. The quarterly and annual results of our Satisfaction surveys result in targeted client-oriented steps to make improvements on the ground.
La Source, a member of the Swiss Leading Hospitals (SLH) regularly compares the results of its patient surveys with the 22 private clinics in the group, once again emphasising its commitment to the Quality of its services. As proof of this irreproachable level of quality, institutions wishing to belong are required to meet a whole series of very precise criteria and constantly need to question themselves by conducting a self-evaluation every three years in order to guarantee their membership and the EXCELLENCE of these services.
The Clinique de La Source was the first multidisciplinary acute care hospital in Switzerland to be awarded, in 2008, the “Recognised for Excellence 4*” standard and subsequently, in 2022, the Level 3, Five Stars hallmark of excellence award, based on the EFQM Model of business excellence, devised by the European Foundation for Quality Management, the assessment tool most widely used in Europe for fostering quality in business.
Featuring amongst the two finalists for the Prix ESPRIX Swiss Award for Excellence, the Clinique de La Source won the prize in the “Business agility and innovation in client services” category.
This prestigious award is the result of extremely high quality standards which put the patient at the very heart of the Clinic’s every endeavour.
The award was the culmination of the efforts made by all employees and accredited doctors to understand, anticipate and meet the needs of patients and unceasingly improve their services, be they medical, catering or administrative.
In addition, we are conducting five national measurements published by the ANQ (Association nationale pour le développement de la qualité dans les hôpitaux et cliniques – National Association for the development of quality in hospitals and clinics), the results of which will accessible to the public.

Our high standards and quality of care, combined with cutting-edge services and medical infrastructure, have resulted in the Clinique de La Source becoming the first multidisciplinary acute medical care in Switzerland to be awarded EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) level 2**** certification in 2008.
In 2022, the Clinique de La Source took yet another major stride along the demanding path towards excellence, receiving the Level 3, Five Stars, award by EFQM. This hallmark of business excellence was granted in 2022 to only two companies across all business and industry sectors in Switzerland. With this latest award, the Clinic is currently the only business in French-speaking Switzerland to have gained this prestigious status, highlighting its business ability and innovative drive.
The Clinique de La Source was awarded the ESPRIX 2022 prize in the “Business agility and innovation in client services” category. This award given by the independent ESPRIX foundation is due recognition of initiatives implemented by the Clinic. Back in 2014, the Clinique de La Source had already been awarded the ESPRIX prize in the “Creating value for clients” category. These awards of nationwide importance in Switzerland bear testament to the efforts undertaken by the Clinic to develop and hone its business model and adapt it to an ever more challenging healthcare world.
The ISO 13485:2016 certification guarantees the quality of management for medical devices, regarding the maintenance of their performance as well as their removal after use. In particular, the ISO 13485:2016 certification is based on user satisfaction, compliance with regulatory requirements applicable to medical devices and related services, and respect for approved workflow processes.
The Clinic is also a member of the Swiss Leading Hospitals.
In April 2008, La Source Laboratories obtained ISO/CEI 17025:2005 standard accreditation. As this standard is not specific to medical analysis laboratories, the Clinic has supplemented this with the ISO 15189:2012 standard, which it obtained at the beginning of 2013, which is specific to medical analysis laboratories and is evidence of its high level of reliability and skill.
In March 2016, and again in March 2021, the Intensive Care Unit of the Clinique has been certified by the Société Suisse de Médecine Intensive (SSMI).
